Maybe that's the wrong foot and it's too short Is anybody have a machine they can measure the foot length

Yeah the lift chain is not hooked up

Notice on the picture with the blue background dead center in that picture is a part that's obviously made and not a singer part. It's a small screw and I don't think it's the right length. Maybe that's part of my problem??

I cannot figure out how to post a picture It keeps saying file too large

hi just purchased a singer 45k53from a friend. i can not figure out how to lower the foot it is about 3/8 above the arm. any help would be appreciated. thanks
