Hi, I'm a beginner and was wondering is it possible to make a knife sheath out of old leather clothing, say a jacket for instance? I don't want to practice on expensive sheets of leather because of the inevitable mistakes. I'd prefer to work with old leather clothing as it's so cheap and also a good way to recycle, all I've seen on line is Women making bags from old clothing, is there any information about all leather craft out of old clothing?
