want to make medieval gauntlets

So a friend of mine wants me to make him a pair of medieval-ish-style gauntlets to go with a Halloween costume. Does anyone have any patterns/recommendations/advice?

if you have questions or other things about the making of those gauntlets, just ask.

i'll try a new way to make them in some time, when i have free time (meaning finished fixing an armor).

it's important to note this kind of gauntlets will make your hands quite bulky. won't be easy to handle things too small or fragile. a sword works fine
