Recently I came across a Pfaff 1425 that needed some TLC. I took it home and changed some parts and cleaned it. Now i have it running but I don’t have any experience with those machines.

Is there anyone of you that has some experience with this machine?

Like, what size thread and needles are the best for this machine?

And what is the maximum thickness of leather you can sew?

It didn’t come with any instructions or anything. I already found a manual online, but that is only the basics.
