Consew 225 walking feet out of synch

Recommended Posts

I've been doing some carpet binding sewing with my 225 and had some thread jamming problems mostly due to my own inexperience.  This led me to having to adjust the hook and needle timing.  While doing so, I noticed the drive belt timing was off (after watching numerous video on how to fix the needle timing issue).  After getting that adjusted, I proceeded to do some sewing, but the walking feet don't feed the carpet through the machine.  I never looked at it when it worked properly, but now the inside foot (with needle in it) moves up and down in synch with the lower feed dog.  I'm thinking they should be moving toward each other, then away from each other correct? If so,  how do I adjust the machine to get them working properly?  Many youtube videos, but none deal with this problem. Thanks in advance.
