G'day everyone.
I recently picked up a Singer 201-3 and I am looking to take on a project. I have a singer 95k40 in a table which i will use for parts. I have attached images.
I have very little experience with the processes involved in this project (tapping holes in cast iron, wiring, changing the motor) but I am handy and hope to do everything on this by myself.

The first thing I aim to do is to convert from the 201.3's knee control to use the treadle pedal and controller as attached to the 95k40.
So my first question for this project is whether this will be possible and if so how I can go about it.

My second question is about the knee lift conversion. I understand that to do this I will first need to remove the 201-3's belted motor and connect to the 95k's motor or fit a new servo.
The singer 1200 uses the same body as the 201-3 and has a knee lift mechanism. Using as many parts as possibe from the mechanism on the 95k40 I want to enable the use of the knee lift for the 201-3.
From what I can see, I will need to find or fabricate the lever which runs lengthways with the body and the small piece which pulls up the foot. I have attached images. Where could I find these?

Then there will be the task of tapping the hole in the arm for the top lever and then drilling a hole through the base to connect it to the lever underneath, which i hope to take from the 95k and attach by simple means - maybe i could use 3m scotch-weld here.
Anyone here experienced with tapping a hole in a machine or doing a similar conversion?

Thanks for taking a look at my post
