Members bodily_carried_technology Posted Monday at 07:52 PM Members Report Posted Monday at 07:52 PM Hello, I have Pfaff 1245 706/47 sewing machine, and it's missing this part, and I would like to buy it off eBay or Amazon, but I don't know what it's called, "rubber support hinge"? Does anyone know what it is called? And where I can buy a replacement online? Thank you Quote
Members friquant Posted Monday at 08:07 PM Members Report Posted Monday at 08:07 PM (edited) I had the same problem on my pfaff. But spurred on by your question, I searched ebay for industrial sewing rubber mount These look like a potential match. Not sure if they match the carved-out spot in your table or not: https://www.ebay.com/itm/143924157971 https://www.ebay.com/itm/303681096346 Edited Monday at 08:11 PM by friquant name caveats Quote

Members mbnaegle Posted 19 hours ago Members Report Posted 19 hours ago We'll call those "Hinges" most of the time. On the plus side, that style only comes in ones size that I'm aware of, so if you find some that is the right shape then they should fit. There are other shapes out there as many manufacturers came up with their own design, but that one is pretty common. Depending on who you get it from, some will come with the metal part that fits into the hole in the back of the head, and some they are sold separately. The metal part you have is one someone made, as the original is made from flat steel rolled into shape and Nickle plated. Quote
