Members E. Gotham Posted Wednesday at 05:07 PM Members Report Posted Wednesday at 05:07 PM I am currently looking for a sewing machine that is capable of sewing leather patches onto shoes (Nikes, Hey Dudes, converse, etc.) as well as sewing leather patches onto bags and purses. I currently have a Chinese shoe patcher machine that my husband has mastered, but I don’t have the time and energy to deal with it. I have seen the hand crank machine that seems like a step up from the Chinese machine (picture below) but I’m wondering if it’s just another can of worms to open? I have a cobra class 26 for other projects so this machine would only be getting used occasionally. I would like to keep the cost around or below $1000. Any thoughts or advice?
