buckskin1 Report post Posted January 20, 2009 THOUGHT THAT I SHOULD INTRODUCE MYSELF SINCE I HAVE BEEN A MEMBER NOW FOR ABOUT A MONTH. MY NAME IS RICK AND I LIVE IN JONESBORO, AR. I HAVE BEEN DOING LEATHER WORK FOR A VERY SHORT TIME, APPROX. 8 MONTHS, AND AM BASICALLY LEARNING ON MY OWN USING BOOKS AND A VIDEO. MOST OF MY INTERESTS IN LEATHER ARE IN MAKING MY OWN TACK. HOPEFULLY I WILL START TRYING TO BUILD A SADDLE SOON WITH THE HELP OF SOME VIDEOS WHICH SEVERAL OF YOU HAVE RECOMMENDED. FINDING THIS FORUM HAS BEEN A GREAT HELP IN THE LEARNING WHAT VERY LITTLE I KNOW, SIMPLY BECAUSE THERE IS SO MUCH TALENT HERE AND YOU FOLKS ARE WILLING TO SHARE YOUR KNOWLEDGE.
