Members StevenMoore Posted January 21, 2009 Members Report Posted January 21, 2009 I have a question, not sure if its a real question or not. I have a tacsew that has an internal oil system. The machine came with the clutch motor and would run at a high RPM. Since I installed a servo motor with four speeds including real slow will the oil system still work correctly running at the slow machine speeds? Should I run the machine at fast speeds for a few minutes (without thread) to run oil through the system, then slow it down? Or am I just over reacting and it should be ok as is? Steve Quote

I suspect that most of the lubrication is accomplished through wicking rather than the force of the machine. If you are uncertain, call TacSew. They will give you the definitive answer. Quote
