gun belt finishes

Hi what finish do you guys recommend for a double layer gun belt? I dyed the outter layer with feibings black dye and the inner layer left natural. Would you put a different finish on the inner layer opposed to the outer (top layer) because of the exposure to perspiration. What about the flexability of the finish, is Acrylic Resolene flexable or will it give a crack/ wrinkle look? Thank you.

I think Resolene will work fine. I just did one almost exactly like yours and I used Weaver Tuff Kote Clear airbrushed on... 3 layers. Looked beautiful.
