King's X Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 I found this ad while surfing the internet, just in case someone in the area needs work. Apprenticeship in Custom Leather Goods (Mt. Airy) Reply to: see below Date: 2009-01-15, 3:04PM EST SEEKING APPRENTICE CUSTOM LEATHER ACCESSORIES Arleen Olshan has worked in custom leather accessories-sandals, belts, handbags, and boxes- for over 40 years, is seeking an apprentice to learn the craft and assist in the business. Arleen has a following in the women’s and gay communities nationally, in addition to local craft shows in the Philadelphia area. Do you like making things with your hands? Do you enjoy sewing-either by hand or on a sewing machine? Are you aspiring to a career in art or a craft? Do you enjoy craft and music festivals-would you like to work in these kinds of environments? If you have answered yes to these questions, please call, let’s talk. I prefer to teach one or two people at a time-as I have limited space in my studio. Arleen-215-242-5074 Quote
