I have the Consew 206RB5, and even with a servo motor, it won't sew 2 layers of 8-9oz. without groaning. Gotta get me one of those reducer thingies.... Quote

Gotta get me one of those reducer thingies.... Yes, I would agree with that. The one I use is a 206RB-1 and it will not lift any higher than 7/16" at maximum.
