King's X Report post Posted March 2, 2009 Hello All: A couple of Longhorn Trail Leather Guild members took a day trip to Fort Worth to spending a little bit of our wife's money at Hide Crafters. We have all ordered from the catalog, but to see it in person is something else. During our visit we were introduced to the Lonestar Leather Guild President Dave Smith and lengendary leather craftsman George Hurst. Mr. Hurst was working on his next dvd tutorial on saddlebags. We eventually were invited to have lunch with Mr. Hurst and guild secretary where we were able to discuss leather, the craft and his passion for this craft.
