Members wildrose Posted March 6, 2009 Members Report Posted March 6, 2009 My father just got himself a Goldwing (midlife crisis???). He'd been wanting one for years, and had always had smaller bikes. I made him chaps and saddlebags for his previous bike, and of course he can still use the chaps. I was teasing him that this thing leaves me little room for leatherworking on it, so he suggested that I make chaps for my mother. His are black, shotgun style, and have tooled leather panels at the top. I used a method that someone I'm no longer speaking with taught me by using Dad's own jeans for measurements. They came out great and fit perfectly. That was a couple years ago. So now I'm at the starting point again and have no memory how I did those! HELP!!!! Keep in mind these will be hand sewn. pic from old crummy camera... Quote Holly Moore Wild Rose Creations http://www.wrcleather.com
