Members Reaper Posted November 14, 2010 Members Report Posted November 14, 2010 Very nice indeed, Crystal! Your shooting will improve over time, thought you might want to get a 22 lr. conversion or pick up a dedicated 1911 22. Cheaper to shoot but the same mechanics and all the weapon controls are the same that way. Good shooting and Fantastic Leather Work! Quote No sir, he fell into that bullet
Contributing Member Crystal Posted November 15, 2010 Author Contributing Member Report Posted November 15, 2010 Thanks for the advice, everyone. Hubby has quite a few guns that he has me shoot and I do well with most. I am squeezing and getting a slight hand twist down and to the right. I have to work on controlling that and I think I will finally get a nice grouping! Thanks again! Crystal Quote Black Dog Custom Leather
Members Big O Posted November 15, 2010 Members Report Posted November 15, 2010 I am squeezing and getting a slight hand twist down and to the right. Check to see if you've got too much finger on the trigger, if right-handed. Ideally, the pad of your finger should fall across the center of the trigger face, rather than the tip or the crease. Also, THINK "press" rather than "squeeze". Sounds silly. Works. Quote https://www.facebook.com/BigOGunleather
Members Garange Posted November 20, 2010 Members Report Posted November 20, 2010 Excellent job! I've got to admit my first holster was not near the perfection as yours! Very nice stitching. Designed well. Quote
Members ShortBBL Posted November 20, 2010 Members Report Posted November 20, 2010 I agree with the others. Very nice! Quote http://www.peterscustomleather.com

Members glennaycock Posted December 7, 2010 Members Report Posted December 7, 2010 Excellent work! Just out of curiousity, what machine did you stitch it with? I have ruined 3 holsters with my Consew 206. I'm starting to get the feeling that walking-foot machines are not meant for holster-making, but hey, I learn the hard way... Quote
