It is a Ginfer knot, I think. 9 parts and 8 bights and is described in the Ron Edwards book round knots and braids. Since it is over 3 on the edges it covers round objects nicely.

It's an Aztec Button Knot from the Bruce Grant Encyclopedia book. I was wondering why I had some many views on this bracelet today, thanks all for the look!!

Hey, LBbyJ - :welcome:

Always happy to have more braiders around - I hope you check things out here and stick around!

They say princes learn no art truly, but the art of horsemanship. The reason is, the brave beast is no flatterer. He will throw a prince as soon as his groom. - Ben Jonson

Thank you for the welcome. I'm not sure about "talent", once you make a few hundred of these you get them down. Keep trying till you get it right!!

HorsehairBraider, you do marvelous work, I love the 25-strand Double Flat Braid Horsehair Bracelet. I tried Horse Hair but my patience is limited so haven't gotten very far. I'm originally from Farmington, NM so good to see a fellow NM'er online.

Thanks all
