My friends at Dubois Leather and Shoe shop in Dubois, Idaho bought out an old shoe shop in Montana among the tools there was a stamp that imparts a chain link and half of the next link in either direction so when placed side by side you can put a chain on leather. The stamp is about one or one and a quarter inches on each side. I have not been able to trade them out of it. Does anyone have one that they would sell? Thanks Lee

Sounds like a McMillen stamp to me. They can be contacted by phone at (573) 374 7880

No this is like a towing or logging chain each link would be about an inch long. This stamp is quite probably 50 plus years old. Thanks anyway. Lee

Thanks I will give them a try. I may have to borrow the stamp from Bev and make an example to post. Later Lee
