Members dave284 Posted April 25, 2009 Members Report Posted April 25, 2009 I am new here but feel this is important. I'm sorry if I'm breaking board rules, but since this section deal with firearms it may save someone some heartaches. Here is a link to another forum I visit. I hope I'm just overreacting. http://forums.wvcdl.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=734 Beware or let those handloaders close to you beware. Dave. Quote
Contributing Member TwinOaks Posted April 25, 2009 Contributing Member Report Posted April 25, 2009 (edited) Thanks for the heads up, Dave, I'll get this out to a few other forums as well. Glad to hear that nobody got hurt. ...check that. I see you're already a member at Rugerforum.net, and have already posted it there. Good deal. I'll still let some folks know about it. Contributing Member TwinOaks Posted April 25, 2009 Contributing Member Report Posted April 25, 2009 Say, it wasn't some funny lookin' feller named TwinOaks was it? He's been tipping folks off about this forum all over the dang place. Quote
Members dave284 Posted April 26, 2009 Author Members Report Posted April 26, 2009 TwinOaks, it may have been you, but I honestly don't remember now. It was in the thread about making holsters. As for the problem, the general concensus is that it was a light load of H110, not any specific powder problem. H110 & W296 were/are meant for full power loads. A light charge will cause the problem encountered. Dave. Quote
