Making a Wedding Gift

This may be cheating, but it is what it is!

We purchased a leather photo album. (Actually, the bride saw the album while shopping and bought it) We plan to LASER ETCH the front cover with one of their favorite wedding photos. I've designed a layout with the wedding date and wedding rings, then put the photo under the design using Adobe Photoshop, then laser etch the entire image on the front of the album. A quick airbrushed Satin Shene sealer and VIOLA ! A wedding photo album totally personalized for THEM and NO ONE else has one! YET!

They're having a beach front wedding, and the bridal shower had alot of shore-side themes to it. They're honeymooning in Hawaii, I believe. So while I usually do Celtic stuff, I should likely find some beach-y themes.

I've decided I'm going to go with an album. There are always LOTS of wedding photos, professional and otherwise, so it'll be useful.

I have done a couple of photo books one for a baby's first birthday, and one for a wedding gift. The wedding gift one was cool because They were bikers and horse owners and wanted something that wasn't fancy so i tooled a picture of his bike and her horse. The baby book was a portrait of the baby and her birthday. For a inside liner on that one, instead of leather i found a nice printed flannel material. I think they make awesome gifts. i know the ones that where given by my were greatly appreciated and they thought it was a awesome idea. I've attached some pics for you to checkout

Very cool! Albums are indeed totally useful.

You could do a celtic knot pattern in like seashells or something...like the love knot.
