hey there i just thought id introduce myself

im stefan im 20 years of age and live in Lincoln in the uk

im just starting out in leather work im an avid larp fan and intend on making myself some armoure out of recycled materials

(ive got a couple of leather jackets and an old sofa to abuse)

i will eventually be buying better quality leather but the way isee it the recycled gear is cheaper to make mistakes with while im juststarting out.

my first project will be a set of leather bracers using this guide( www.geocities.com/craiggoet...torial.htm ) out of 2mm thick leather jacket

i ordered my tools yesterday and they should be hear Friday i have ordered

and i have a few good blades from my woodworking (i carve wood)

my main question is really do you guys have any advice? and have iordered the right tools for what i need? and can anyone point me to anyother guides for other pieces of Armour?
