Members luckydevil Posted October 12, 2009 Members Report Posted October 12, 2009 I love the site. I've been checking it out for a week or two and have mustered up the courage to get involved. I'm a Harley Tech and avid gearhead who has been working at HD dealerships for the last 8 years. Wrecked a bike in summer of 2005, broke an ankle and wrist. Major bummer, but bright side of the deal is I got the bug for leather while I was laid up healing. Mainly I needed a new seat for the one I damaged in the wreck. I really hate paying someone to do things I feel like I could do myself. I would rather spend twice the money in equipment and supplies and do it on my own. Fortunately leather work has paid back ten fold of my original investment not just monetarily but satisfaction also. I look forward to feedback from people who enjoy this craft! Thanks for being here! Quote
Members TTcustom Posted October 29, 2009 Members Report Posted October 29, 2009 Welcome! Glad you're healed back up and found something positive outta the whole thing. There are lots of bike people here so you will be sure to find some interesting ideas. Plus horse stuff can be adapted to motorcycle applications in interesting ways. I look forward to seeing what you have been doing.
