Somawas Report post Posted October 29, 2009 The lady who runs (read: does most of the real work) for the cocker spaniel rescue that we have adopted three cockers from mentioned recently that she needed leashes and a couple of lead splitters. A few straps, snaps, rivets (copper) and rings later, I have enough leashes and lead splitters put together for her to walk a dozen dogs, if she wants to try that many. And I think my cost to do the whole lot was no more than $20. I feel pretty good about that.
Crystal Report post Posted October 29, 2009 What a great thing to do! I am sure she is tickled with the much needed leashes. Crystal
Somawas Report post Posted October 29, 2009 I may not be right about the $20. My Tandy manager gave me a couple of straps that he was going to put in the "severely discounted" bin because they had a couple of thin spots. I had a bag or two of copper rivets. Also had a big box of snaps that I got somewhere really cheap. (I think I paid about $25 for a big box of about 80-90 snaps). I bought a bag of rings and I bought some strap material. So say that I spent less than $20.
