Members Mach Posted November 30, 2009 Members Report Posted November 30, 2009 I am an absolute beginner at leather working and am in need of some advice. I picked up some stingray leather awhile back and have finally found a project for it. I'd like to stretch it over a cedar plaque so that the wrapped edges are smooth without buckling. How should I treat the leather before stretching (hot water?) and then how to stretch it around the board? The flat of the board top and back will be trimmed out when done with smooth edges being most important. Any advice, pointers, or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Quote
