When making a folded holster it's always a good idea to case the are of the fold. Quote
Members TTcustom Posted December 4, 2009 Members Report Posted December 4, 2009 Casing it should help. Do a test strip first to see if there are any problems and what is possible with the leather. Quote
Members gundy Posted December 4, 2009 Author Members Report Posted December 4, 2009 thanks for the replies, when i have a bit of time i will give that a try. holsters will be pancake style, formed, and a few belts. thanks again. Quote
Lobo Posted December 14, 2009 Report Posted December 14, 2009 Depending upon the dye used, veg-tanned cowhide can be somewhat difficult to case. Some dyes inhibit water absorption. Soaking for 10 to 20 minutes in warm water can help. Quote
