What is it? Billy Cook 3869

I've got an old Billy Cook saddle that has the identification of 3869 (wrong number in the title thread) on it. It has some silver on it.

Some people have told me this saddle is an antique. I've searched all over the internet for information on it to no avail.

Anyone have an additional insight on it? I can probably post pictures this weekend. I was just hoping to get a head start on it.

If it is the same Billy Cook saddle maker, he is living and working in Florida making minature saddles for a guy who's name slips my mind. I can find it in case you would like to possibly make contact with them.

Look up Genuine Billy Cook Saddles, Sulpher, Oklahoma on the internet. They will have an 800 number for the saddle shop. Give them the number from the saddle and they have the records. It's an old original Billy Cook Saddle.

I'd say this style became popular in the 70's. The low sloping forks usually denote an Arab tree. The saddle appears to be of excellent quality.
