somewhereinusa Report post Posted December 6, 2009 This is early, but I have an opportunity to go on a mule packing trip into the mountains next summer. It's basically a photo expedition for me. The way I get around to doing things I had better get started now. Does anyone have any suggestion on making some sort of holster to carry a large DSLR with a long lens on a saddle? Protection somewhat important, ease of use very important. Most of my gear will be in some sort of bag or hard case, but I want to have the camera with me. I would also like some suggestions on case for other gear. I know that many of you ride, so thought this would be the best place to get ideas.
