TroyS Report post Posted January 5, 2010 Warhorse, That's a killer seat! I love the color combination and the realism of the skull is VERY impressive! One very small hint however, when lacing, the lace has a tendency to wander a bit. Now that the seat is finished, go around and tap the edge with a rubber mallet or something to help the laces "Settle". It will even out the laced seam and add that finishing touch to your project! Keep up the good work! Troy

Keep up the good work! Troy thank you for the compliment, and I will definitely take the advice! The adhesive actually started coming away from the cushion a little due to this seat being a recycled project. I am leaving this one on this time and waiting to get more seat pans so I can make my own foam surface. I didn't like the lace I saw available at Tandy, so I made my own (dyeing it was fun...) There is plenty of learning curve to this and the people here like you are VERY helpful and encouraging. thanks again!
