saw same of those kepi that the nord and the south had but i whant to make them of leather , tryng to get a pattern,

please help

thank you i saw that site does not help to much, would like to find a site where i can see the way they do it i will try to go troo some site agin but any help will be greatly apprciated

You can get Kepi patterns from Alter Years. They have tons of historical patterns and books on a wide variety of subjects for the re-enactor/costumer/crafter.

I think, if I'm not mistaken, that BEAVERSLAYER, one of our members, did (or has) a tutorial right here on this site on making a kepi. It's been several years & I haven't seen him post for a good while, but if it survived the crash, it should still be here somewhere..

There should be a thread on this from the past year. I posted some pics of a Kepi I bought in 1979 at the sandal makers shop on pier 39 in San Francisco.
