Members 303brit Posted January 15, 2010 Members Report Posted January 15, 2010 I just finished a new belt holster. I based it on one brinyar posted here. (Hope you don't mind man, yours is a work of art!) I used about 8oz veg tan from a local shop. It is finished with two coats of Fiebings dark brown dye and then a coat of Resolene. I still have to do a final polish on it, but I am happy with how it turned out. (Even if it is not as nice as the original.) Any suggestions on ways to do it better are appreciated. This is only the second pancake I have tried, the first didn't come out nearly as nice. I miss judged the stitching and had to redo around the trigger guard. Quote
Members brinyar Posted January 15, 2010 Members Report Posted January 15, 2010 That is a nice looking reinforcement piece on your holster! Looking good...it looks like you are getting the process down. The more you make the better they will turn out. I am flattered you would base one of your holsters on a design of mine. Quote
