George George Go to the saddle and tack cat. When ya get there go to the restoration and repair subform and type in barrel saddle repair in the search thingy. There are a few topics on rebraiding one. You'll have to go to the 3rd or 4th page. Someone had step by step instructions from a old magazine they were willing to mail out.
