TZHunter Posted January 24, 2010 Report Posted January 24, 2010 I'm corresponding with someone who is selling a Boss, but they don't know if it is Cast Iron or Aluminum. The person has no idea of judging weight. It was purchased from Tippmann in 2003. Is there any other marking, etc that will guarantee its Cast Iron (which I want)? Is there something different on the Model between the Cast Iron vs Aluminum? Much Thanks, TZHunter Quote

TZHunter Posted January 25, 2010 Author Report Posted January 25, 2010 Arbo, Thanks Much ! That's and excellent way to determine whether its Iron or Aluminum. Thanks again, TZHunter Quote
Moderator bruce johnson Posted January 25, 2010 Moderator Report Posted January 25, 2010 My cast iron one didn't have the graphics on the faceplate of the head that the aluminum ones I see have. Quote
