I started doing leathercraft in the early 90's in St. Pete Florida. There was a Tandy store right down the road from me. I did it for a few years and then just sopped for some reason. Now that I live on a horse farm I am getting into it again. I also play pool and have seen some nice cases people have and said to myself i can make those. Well i am going to make one for myself first and see if i can. I have also worked in a tannery in the late 70's. probably the worst job i have ever had. that was in Berwick Maine for Prime tannery. They sent me and a couple other guys to a plant in St Joseph MO to set up shaving machines one summer. There i got to see the hides come in right from the slaughter house. I was only use to blue sides. that was real disgusting. Anyway I do love this site and look forward to getting on every day. thanks to all of you guys and gals for your expertise. I have learned a lot form you.

Glad to have you!

I'd stopped for a while too, but it's an addiction with no known cure rolleyes.gif
