Members alaskakid79 Posted February 27, 2010 Members Report Posted February 27, 2010 Hey Mike, don't get too upset! You will have to take the whole thing apart to redo the nose but you can also get it back together if you are careful when u take it apart. I don't think you can put a nice noseband on with out having the body laid out straight. OR you could just keep that one on your wall as a decoration AND as a reminder to slow down, think ahead, look ahead, look for the pattern, keep track of your passes, and follow the sequence. The only people that have never had these problems are folks that don't braid! Vaya con Dios, Alan F that. don't take it apart. if u want a new nose. tie one. take a knife level that 1 off and round it up. and wham. ready to start braiding right over the top of it. do the same with that heel knot. trim it 2 shape and then cover it. but use thinner strings narrower strings. you will have plenty of girth and will be needin 2 watch weight. that is a great start dont give up on it. finish it with a nicer knot and brag and tell everbody about using long g knots for core material instead of some EL' CHEAP O tape.
