THE BIG RED VIKING Report post Posted March 19, 2010 I just finished my very first tooled, braided and dyed project, a bill fold wallet. I have had in my pocket for about a two weeks now and it seems a little dry. What are some recommendations for treating/conditioning my projects. I use a bees wax from the boot store on my boots and shoes, I am worried about it ruining my one good pair of jeans I have left. Any suggestions or recommendations. abn Report post Posted March 19, 2010 Steve, if the project was colored with an oil or spirit dye, I'd simply use Lexol to condition it. If you used Eco-Flo dyes, Lexol is a no-no... Neatsfoot oil would be better in that case. But I'm sure there are others who would suggest different products. There are quite a few out there!
