Hi!feedback.gif

An American Indian friend wants me to make her a belt for pow wow's she participates in. Her family animal is the beaver. I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions for where to get a beaver stamping tool (I found one on ebay but was outbid thumbsdown.gif ). I found a rubber stamp of a beaver paw but I don't know how well acrylic would wear on a belt or if a stamp would even work. whatdoyouthink.gif Thanks muchly for any advice.

How about if you just make the belt from beaver tail? I can't remember off hand who has it, but it is available (maybe Leather Unlimited?). You'd have to splice it and line it, but it would be cool.

Thanks for the idea. You_Rock_Emoticon.gifI should have added that she is paying me $30 to make the belt and I already have the belt blank and buckletongue.gif

Get the beaver paw stamp. Stamp it on a piece of paper. Then trace the paw print on to tracing film. Then trace to you leather and cut with a swivel knife and tool it.
