Members JWGlover Posted April 24, 2010 Members Report Posted April 24, 2010 I was gonna try my hand at using sinew for hand stitching but don't know how to tie the sinew to the needle. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Quote
Members DepME Posted April 24, 2010 Members Report Posted April 24, 2010 (edited) I was gonna try my hand at using sinew for hand stitching but don't know how to tie the sinew to the needle. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. You might take a look at this threading link. I haven't read the entire article but I use procedure #2 when I thread my needle. I'm new at this so I certainly don't know if there are better ways but this is the way that is taught in "The Art of Hand Sewing Leather" by Al Stohlman. Edited April 24, 2010 by DepME Quote
dirtclod Posted April 24, 2010 Report Posted April 24, 2010 I thread the needle then stick the needle through the thread two times and pull tight. Quote
