I know that it is located in the calendar, but I wanted to put it out on the forum. I hope to fly to CA and attend the event representing the Longhorn Trail Leather Guild. Maybe I can learn some new techniques!! Reception and birthday celebration in honor of Al Shelton, "Cowboy Artist to the Stars" Sunday June 20th 2010 - 3:30 PM The Autry in Griffith Park Throughout the day: Jeffrey Richardson, Associate Curator of Film and Popular Culture, will be on hand in the Imagination Gallery to highlight Al Shelton's work. The Officers of The Leathercraft Guild will be demonstrating leatherwork. Al Shelton's artwork will be on display and available for purchase in the museum lobby. Noon - 3PM Western Music Association's Monthly Jam 1PM - 3PM Let's Make History - Leather Stamping. This family program takes place in the Museum Plaza ALL activities are FREE with museum admission.
