I finished this one a couple of weeks ago. It's been to the range a few times so it already shows a little use. 7-8 Veggie tanned with 4-5 veggie tanned liner. Hand made. Saddle stitched.

That is a beautiful rig. I am looking at trying my hands at something for my dad's Colt 1911 Army Issue 45. Hopefully it looks as clean and professional as yours.

Thanks for the nice comments. I really enjoy making holsters. I guess my next step is to try some carving.

Nice! I really like the laced strap across the front. I think I might try something like that, maybe add a bead or two before the knot. Great project. Thanks for the inspiration!

Thank you Steve. I actually thought about putting some beads on the lace. I just couldn't decide where to put them. I may have to do a little rethinking on the beads.
