Need Some Advice : How To Get Nice Edge Finish Strap Which Use Gator Hide And Veg Tanned Leather

Hi,

I am having problem getting nice edge finish on the croc strap like the attached pictures

Anyone has any idea?

Top portion is a croc hide, bottom is veg tanned leather, i am using Fiebing edge kote.

I am not able to get nice and even edge finish like this.

The finished edge of a piece of leather is the result of several steps, not just the application of an edge coating. Click over to the "How do I do that?" section, and look for a 'pinned' tutorial called "Finishing Edges" by Hidepounder. That should get you started in the right direction.
