Saddle Nails

hey gang

feel real odd asking this but can someone list the sizes of nails used on a saddle and where they use them so i can get some LOL

I use 3/4" and 1" nails. I have ringshanks, twist, and smooth nails in SS. I get them from Sheridan Leather - they sell them in smaller amounts than most suppliers.

I also use 3/4" and 1" SS ring shank nails and buy them by the pound. Last ones I purchased were from Jamestown Distrubutors. www.jamestowndistributors.com They are located in RI and are a boat building supplier so they carry alot of different SS screws and nails.

I use 3/4 & 1" stainless smooth nails, but I don't care for ring shanks. I like and use a lot of 3penny galvanized nails as they hold well but can be pulled later for repairs, they are just over 1" long and you can get them at a good lumber yard ........ Jeff
