Members KB8UVM Posted July 22, 2010 Members Report Posted July 22, 2010 I think this is my best looking holster so far. It's for a Glock 23. If you see anything that I can do different please let me know. Quote
Lobo Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 Very nice work. Good basic design, well executed. Quote

Members Deanimator Posted July 22, 2010 Members Report Posted July 22, 2010 A very nice holster. I like how you continued the stitch grooves past where the stitches are. It gives it a nice symmetrical look. Quote

It gives it a nice symmetrical look. I use to stop the stitch groove at the stitching. I noticed a couple people on this forum that took the groove all the way around and I thought it looked pretty good that way. Since then I've done 3 holsters that way, it makes it easier to groove it like that and it adds that symmetrical look. Quote
Members dickf Posted July 22, 2010 Members Report Posted July 22, 2010 I think it looks really great. The only nit-picky thing I have would be to square off the muzzle and have it flush, but like I said, it's just a nitpicking thing on my end. I like for the leather and muzzle of the gun to be flush with each other. Well done! Quote

My personal preference is to have the muzzle tucked up in just a little to help protect the muzzle and to have a smooth rounded leather edge on the backside that rides against my hip bone. Thanks for the input. Quote
Members Rayban Posted July 23, 2010 Members Report Posted July 23, 2010 A nice clean solid looking holster. I'm making a second one for a fella that wants to "give mine a try" and he specificaly asked me to leave the leather about 1/4" past the muzzle and round it around it (muzzle), for added protection. Looks pretty good too. Quote

Members WaG35 Posted July 29, 2010 Members Report Posted July 29, 2010 Very nice. What do you use to cut the belt slots? They are very clean. Quote
Members KB8UVM Posted July 29, 2010 Author Members Report Posted July 29, 2010 Very nice. What do you use to cut the belt slots? They are very clean. Thanks. I use an old punch and wood chisel to cut the rough shape and then I use a dremel with a small sanding drum to clean them up. Quote
