What is a good tool to use for Filigreeing leather? Im thinking a Bevel Point Knife, but Im not sure, Ive never done it?

I use an #1 xacto-style knife after cutting and tooling the pattern. will post an example later of one I am working on.

Bob Beard sell filligree chisels. You use it as you would your beveler.

Scalpel blade or small wood carving tools. I found a set at Hobby Lobby for $5.99. I sharpened and stropped them and use them as hand held punches. I find my line and apply light pressure downward until it cuts through. The set comes in 6 different shapes/angles that are useful.
