Members CDragonworks Posted August 26, 2010 Members Report Posted August 26, 2010 (edited) I have a great old machine here I have been using for many years. I added her big sister a 156 when I was sewing garb for a Renaissance Leather seller. I no longer do production so I have no need for both machines now. She will require a table and motor but those are best gotten to suit your space and need. I prefer having a 3/4 HP motor but you can run her with a small as a 1/4HP. she is smooth and powerful and sews a dream. This is NOT a hoe type machine! She has a walking foot and walking needle and will sew anything you can get under the foot.... I even went through a solid brass buckle one day when repairing a racing bridle. I would not advise sewing buckles<G> Her paint was ratty and needed help so I gave her paint job one year when we needed her out on the faire grounds. She is now green with handpainted red dragons...all sealed. This is a serious leather sewing machine great for upholstery and sail making too. I have a printed booklet for her and she has been oiled EVERYTIME I used her... this is important on these big ones! I am asking $300.00 plus shipping (will be based on distance and weight) or you can pick it up if you are in TX. I live in Navasota. Edited August 26, 2010 by CDragonworks Quote
