Members Cannon Posted August 31, 2010 Members Report Posted August 31, 2010 Here are a few I've shipped out recently. Not entirely happy with the dye on the first one, but other than that, I'm getting a little better all the time. Quote

Members Cannon Posted August 31, 2010 Author Members Report Posted August 31, 2010 Thanks, Doc. I make my own patterns; lay the gun out on a manilla folder, trace the outline, and go from there. I can add or remove material from the pattern until it looks right, then transfer it to the leather. If the first one doesn't work out quite right, I scribble a few notes on the pattern, and modify it accordingly the next time around. The first black one above is my own design, but borrows heavily from the old Elmer Keith-inspired Hank Sloan design. The second black one is the classic Tom Threepersons/Lawrence 120 design. For me, it's THE holster for single actions. Quote
