vandy Report post Posted September 17, 2010 Hello All, I found this online and wondered how it could be "adjustable" to fit any size wrist. They also list the dye as "adjustable -water-based dye". Any info you could provide regarding: how it's made, how it could be adjustable and where I could find more info. on the type of dye used, would be greatly appreciated by this newbie. Thanks in advance!
tuffcase Report post Posted September 17, 2010 I saw a similar bracelet, and it was 2 pieces of leather with a metal band sandwiched in between them. It's glued together with burnished edges. For the dye, I don't know.
Peter Ellis Report post Posted September 17, 2010 Yep - It's a metal bracelet covered in leather and you can bend it to fit a wide range of sizes. I'm pretty sure I read a thread here on Leatherworker.net where someone went into good detail on how they make these, but I couldn't find it with a quick search. Hi, I think I found the bracelet tutorial that was referenced. Thanks for your help! http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=20358&st=0&p=133982&hl=+bracelet%20+tutorial&fromsearch=1entry133982 Victoria
