Members ShortBBL Posted November 10, 2010 Author Members Report Posted November 10, 2010 I didn't even know they made a blackhawk in 44 special. Great now I want one........and ill have to make a holster...n buy dies, n. Bullets.....now see what u started. Seriously I gotta get one...n I love the holster... Badasp118 Yes they started making these last year. It's maybe my best shooting handgun! One other nice thing, these are FLATTOPS, like their originals and the cylinder even indexes correctly for loading/unloading! Very nice gun. Quote http://www.peterscustomleather.com

Badasp118 Plus one flattop in stainless, plus blued Bisleys, plus blued and stainless Vaqueros. They are built on the original .357 Blackhawk (and Colt SAA) frame size, not the .44 Mag frame. Unfortunately, all the ones I mentioned are distributor exclusives, so limited time. Check out Rugers website, they are under Blackhawk, and Vaquero/distributor exclusives. They do shoot too. Happy hunting... Quote
Members billymac814 Posted November 16, 2010 Members Report Posted November 16, 2010 I didn't really read through so this may have already been discussed but there are snap backers available that cover the back of the snap with plastic, I got some from High Desert Leather. They push into the hole and are quite secure. Nice looking holster. Quote www.mccabescustomleather.com
