Members cbcues Posted November 29, 2010 Members Report Posted November 29, 2010 Hello all. I am a custom pool cue builder. I found some leather I like in a local store that I am sending to get split for use on cues. Most cue leathers have a fairly shiny finish to them wether that are cow or pigskin. Do you guys have a suggestion on what I should use as a sealer, protectant to keep chalk dust out of the leather? It is a 3-4oz upholstery leather that I got at tandy. It has a semi glossy finish to it now. It may be fine as is but I wanted to expiriment with some products if it needs to be coated. Any info is appreciated. Quote
