Members aspanol Posted December 6, 2010 Members Report Posted December 6, 2010 I wanna make something like this for my gf? have a few qn? Is there anything underneath the slot to support the cards? Also, how do they link the outer layer onto the slot area? As i can't really see the stitching over. Do help if you know briefly how to do this! THANKS! Quote
Contributing Member TwinOaks Posted December 7, 2010 Contributing Member Report Posted December 7, 2010 Do a search on this website for "biker wallet", and then click on the "how do I do that" forum and look for the tutorial by Kevin King. He takes you step by step through the production process. The thread on the biker/trucker wallet includes a pattern similar to the one you have pictured. Quote

The problem with my wallets are the pockets. from the side, i can see that there are several layers. How do they actually do it? This qn is killing me. Thanks for the help anyway TwinOaks! Contributing Member TwinOaks Posted December 7, 2010 Contributing Member Report Posted December 7, 2010 Yeah, sorry, I was feeling a bit lazy and didn't post the link. Thanks for taking up the slack, abn. Aspanol, the edges are hidden with a wrapped edge, sometimes called a French edge, which is demonstrated in the tutorial I so woefully neglected to link. Quote
