Members lazybum Posted January 4, 2011 Members Report Posted January 4, 2011 Accidentally spilled a bit of contact cement on the suede of my project. Any way to salvage it? Quote
Members celticleather Posted January 4, 2011 Members Report Posted January 4, 2011 If you have some dried-up cement, perhaps from around the edge of your glue pot, roll it into a ball in the palm of your hand. Gently dab it or rub it onto the glue that's on your project, and with any luck it will lift it away without damage. Alternatively, rub the area gently with a piece of crepe rubber . . . this usually works. Quote
Members lazybum Posted January 4, 2011 Author Members Report Posted January 4, 2011 Thanks for the suggestion. The dried cement method took away some of it. I think some stains were set in too deep to salvage. Guess ill just have to be more careful next time. Quote
